Eight more die of swine flu in India, toll rises to 359

During the day, four deaths were reported from across the country with one each from Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, two from Maharashtra. "In addition, laboratory confirmation of one death from Andhra Pradesh, two from Maharashtra and one from Karnataka have also been received from the respective State Health departments, and are now reflected in the cumulative total," a ministry official said. He said samples from 47,145 people have been tested for Influenza H1N1 in government laboratories and a few private laboratories across the country and 23.8 per cent of them have been found positive.
