The counter witnessed trades of 15.01 lakh shares on the BSE, as against the two-week daily average trade of 10.18 lakh shares. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Updated at 1017am) Gujarat NRE Coke has gained 3% as Q3 net doubles to Rs 26.68 crore. The stock opened at Rs 77 and touched a high of Rs 82.20 - up 7% rom its open. The stock is now trading with a 2.5% gain at Rs 81. Around 5.57 lakh shares have been traded on the BSE so far. The company has informed the BSE through a press release that the net profit has jumped 101% to Rs 26.68 crore for the quarter ended December 2009 from Rs 13.26 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total income, however, declined 27% to Rs 321.68 crore from Rs 439.32 crore in the same period.
