NIUD gets union assent

The Union Government has given consent for setting up the centre of National Institute of Urban Development (NIUD) in the Chhattisgarh. Sources in the government said that after discussion with state officials, the union government had given consent for setting up the NIUD centre in the state. The centre had also sanctioned Rs 35 crore for the project. Sensex pares gains; Hindalco up 4%
