UTV Software Communications June qtr net loss at Rs 23 cr

Media company UTV Software Communications today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 23.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, against a net profit of Rs 19.88 crore in the same period last year. - UTV Software net profit declines 40% - UTV Software Comm Q4 net down 40% at Rs 11 cr - Oracle Financial Q1 net profit up 76% - Federal-Mogul Goetze June qtr net jumps two-folds at Rs 16 cr - M&M Q1 net surges 150% at Rs 400 cr on merger - Bajaj Electricals Q1 net up 64% at Rs 16 cr Total revenues declined to Rs 115.36 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 137.07 crore in the same period last fiscal. Shares of UTV Software Communications were trading at Rs 424.50 on the BSE, down 0.61 per cent from the previous close.

Dabur Q2 net up 30.7%
FMCG firm Dabur India today reported a 30.7 per cent jump in consolidated net profit during the second quarter ended September to Rs 140.34 crore compared with Rs 107.41 crore in the corresponding period last year, driven by strong volume growth across key categories. Revenue was at Rs 855.06 crore compared with Rs 698.45 crore in the corresponding period last year, up 22.4 per cent, the company said in a statement.
