Wipro's Infocrossing inks deal with Cliffs

Infocrossing, a company acquired by IT firm Wipro, has entered into a multi-year agreement to provide infrastructure services to Cliffs Natural Resources Inc, an international mining and natural resources company. - Tata Steel partners NML; to invest 300 mn Canadian dollar - Resurgere Mines to raise Rs 250 cr via securities - GCCI frowns on proposed levy on mining firms - NMDC exceeds production target for 2008-09 Infocrossing will provide Cliffs server, storage and architecture services from its data centres, a release said. It will also deliver service desk and desk top support to around 2,000 employees across Cliffs" multiple North American administrative and operating locations. Infocrossing is an IT infrastructure management solution provider. Cliffs is North America"s largest producer of iron ore pellets and a major supplier of direct shipping lump and fines iron ore out of Australia. It is also a significant producer of metallurgical ore.
